Itinerary

Day 1: TUESDAY 12 SEPTEMBER 2023
Departure of your flight to Istanbul.
Check departure cities: Miami, Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Dallas, Chicago, Houston, New York, Newark, Washington DC (Check price, except from Miami).

Day 2: WEDNESDAY 13 SEPTEMBER 2023 ISTANBUL
Welcome to Turkey! Upon arrival at Istanbul International Airport you will be met by a Spanish-speaking assistant, after which we will proceed with the transfer to the hotel.
You may proceed to leave your luggage at the hotel and go out for breakfast and/or stroll around the city until check-in time. Lodging.

Day 3: THURSDAY 14 SEPTEMBER 2023 ISTANBUL
Breakfast.
Full day tour of the magnificent city of Istanbul.
In our tour we will include a cable car ride to the Pierre Loti viewpoint and we will enter the Suleymaniye Mosque (the largest in Istanbul), visiting in the historical part the Hagia
Sophia Basilica, the culmination of Byzantine art, and the pearl of Istanbul; we will also visit the famous Topkapi Palace, residence of the Ottoman sultans for four centuries, including the treasury and the sacred relics.
At noon we will enjoy a typical lunch in a local restaurant in the Sultanahmet area and continue with a visit to the Blue Mosque, a prodigy of harmony, proportion and elegance; and the Hippodrome which preserves the Obelisk of Theodosius, the Serpentine Column, the Fountain of Emperor Wilhelm and the Egyptian Obelisk.
We will visit the famous Grand Bazaar where we will enjoy free time to lose ourselves among its 4 thousand stores.
At the end of the afternoon we will have a transfer to the Taksim district, the most commercial and lively area of the city.
Time for dinner in one of its many restaurants, you can also take the old streetcar that crosses the area or approach the nearby Galata Tower.
Return to the hotel and overnight.

Day 4: FRIDAY 15 SEPTEMBER 2023 ISTANBUL – ANKARA – KAPADOCIA
Today we travel by train, from the station in the Asia area we take the most modern and fastest train in Turkey, pleasant journey of 4 hours sightseeing the landscapes of Anatolia or having a coffee in the train cafeteria. Ankara, arrival, after a time for lunch in the station area with the coach we will take you to visit the Mausoleum of Ataturk.
We will continue after that route to Cappadocia. We pass by the Salt Lake, with its incredible scenery.
Arrival in Avanos (Cappadocia). Dinner included.

Day 5: SATURDAY 16 SEPTEMBER 2023 CAPADOCIA
Breakfast at the hotel.
Visit of this fascinating region and original landscape, formed by the lava spewed by the Erciyes and Hasan volcanoes 3 million years ago.
We will visit the valley of Göreme, an incredible Byzantine monastic complex composed of churches carved into the rock with beautiful frescoes.
Then, we will visit the Avcilar Valley and the Pasabagi and Gόvercinlik Valleys where you can admire the best view of the volcanic forms called “fairy chimneys” We will visit the typical workshops of carpets and stones of Onyx and Turquoise. Dinner at the hotel and overnight.

Day 6: SUNDAY 17 SEPTEMBER 2023 CAPADOCIA – IHLARA – KONYA
At the edge of Cappadocia we visit the Ihlara Valley, the coolness of its waters, its churches and villages carved into the rock.
We then continue our route, a stop at an ancient Caravanserail of the thirteenth century before arriving in Konya where we visit the Mausoleum of Mevlana, here we will know the sect of the Dervishes (entrance included).
Dinner included. In the evening we suggest you to attend the dance show of the dancing dervishes at the cultural center.

Day 7: MONDAY 18 SEPTEMBER 2023 KONYA – EGRIDIR – PAMUKKALE
We take scenic road between lakes, we know Egridir, beautiful town next to large inland lake with its walls, its mosques.
Time for lunch.
We continue to Pamukkale-Hierapolis, the calcareous waters have created the cotton castle (entrance included). Dinner included.

Day 8: TUESDAY 19 SEPTEMBER 2023 PAMUKKALE – EFESO – KUSADASI
Depart for Ephesus, the best preserved ancient city in Asia Minor; 2000 years ago it had a quarter of a million inhabitants; we visit the house of the Virgin Mary, the Basilica of St.
John and the impressive ruins of Ephesus (entrance fees included).
Continuation to KUSADASI, popular seaside town with lots of atmosphere, commercial life and small castle. Dinner included.

Day 9: WEDNESDAY 20 SEPTEMBER 2023 KUSADSI – IZMIR – BURSA – ISTANBUL
We will leave for the fourth most populated city in Turkey: Izmir, we will visit the church of St. Polycarp, the oldest church in Izmir, which reminds us of the importance of this area in the beginning of Christianity (entrance fee included).
Afterwards we travel through the interior of Turkey again.
Stop en route for lunch before arriving in BURSA, the fourth largest city in Turkey, its historic center has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its traditional shopping districts, mosques, religious schools, public baths … highlights the Green Mosque.
Arrival in Istanbul at the end of the day.

Day 10: THURSDAY 21 SEPTEMBER 2023 ISTANBUL
Breakfast. Departure for one of the most famous activities in Istanbul, a boat ride on the Bosphorus, the channel that separates Europe and Asia.
We will then visit the Spice Bazaar, built by the Ottomans 5 centuries ago.
Our included visit ends at the bazaar where you can enjoy the atmosphere and variety of stores.
In the afternoon you can optionally visit the Asian part of the city with lunch.
In the evening, at appropriate time transfer to the airport for your flight departing on September 22, 2023 at 01:10 AM.
